Alderney residents protested outside a States meeting over changes to Aurigny’s new winter schedule.
There will no longer be an arrival from Guernsey after lunchtime on Saturdays and the first flight on Sunday will not arrive until after 2pm in the afternoon.
The service is a vital means of transport for those needing to get to and from the island and has been criticised by campaigners since it was announced.
It also means the island’s football team will not be able to make day trips for fixtures.
The new schedule is due to be introduced from November.
The company says it is honouring the deal it made with the States.
Earlier in September, the airline announced expected losses of £7.6 million – more than 70% higher than originally forecast.
