Almost 1,000 children were signed up to Jersey Sport activities during 2018, according to Jersey Sport’s annual report.
Hundreds of young people also attended the Playday event at Parade gardens.
The sporting organisation was set up in 2017 to promote active living in the island. It helps to support and guide local clubs and is also responsible for managing the States of Jersey travel grant to help athletes train and compete at higher levels.
