British Airways has pulled out of an appearance at the Jersey International Air Display.

The airline had been due to display its retro-styled BEA Livery aircraft on Thursday 13 September.

However, they say that industrial action has affected the flight schedule and that it will take ‘some time’ to get it back to normal.

BA also apologised for the impact the disruption had had on customers.

Other events at the Jersey International Air Display will include a Chinook helicopter and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

The displays will take place from 1pm in St Aubin’s Bay.
