More young people are seeking help from a support and counselling service in Jersey.

The Youth Enquiry Service, which is known as the YES project, is run between the Jersey Youth Service and the Jersey Youth Trust.

It has seen 305 young people referred for counselling and advice in 2018, compared to 223 referrals in 2017 and 125 in 2013.

Islanders between the ages of 14-25 can use the drop-in facility to seek support for mental health issues and any other concerns they may have.
