Jersey Care Commission has appointed its new Chief Inspector.
Audrey Murphy will be responsible for overseeing inspections by the commission into local health and social care services.
Audrey has been a social worker for almost 20 years and has worked in management positions in community disability and hospital social work services.
She has also worked for the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority in Belfast, working to improve services across Northern Ireland.
She says she is excited to take on the role.
The Jersey Care Commission formally became the regulator for health and social care in January 2019, carrying out annual inspections into the quality of services on the island.
