Jersey’s Serena Guthrie will lead England into the semi-final of the Netball World Cup this afternoon at 3pm.
They take on New Zealand – who they’ve beaten in previous match ups.
However the Silver Ferns enjoyed an astonishing comeback against the world number one’s, Australia, earlier this week.
New Zealand eventually lost the game by only one goal, ending the match 50 – 49, meaning they could be a huge threat to England today.
If England win, it will be their first final since 1975, and will guarantee them at least a silver medal.
Australia are currently playing against South Africa in the other semi-final.
The winners of each game will match up in the final on Sunday, with England hoping to take the title on home soil.
