Heather Watson beat Spain’s Sara Torribes Torma in straight sets in the final of the Vancouver Open to claim her second ITF title of the year.
The British number two did not drop a set on her way to victory in the $100,000 event.
She came back from 5-2 down in the first set against the world number 89 in Sunday’s final before taking the match 7-5 6-4.
Watson, who has climbed to 101 in the rankings off the back of her 10th career title, now heads to New York for US Open qualifying where she will face Mariam Bolkvadze in the first round.
